One of the joys of bringing home a short-haired puppy in a few weeks is we’ll be able to get some fancy collars - our other dog has beautiful, thick long fur and collars just disappear so there’s never been any point in getting anything other than bog standard functional ones. But new pup is a smooth collie - she will have a pointy face so am I right in thinking a soft martingale is the best bet (she will mostly be walked on a harness but would like to train loose lead walking on a collar and lead too. She’s a tri colour so mostly black with white and little bits of tan. Any particular collar sites you’d recommend?

We got a beautiful rolled leather house collar for our dog from Petiquette collars , no use for you if you want to use it for walking but they do other types .

I second meggie moo, I’ve developed a bit of an addiction to looking at them on the website and taking ages to choose my next one. She also matches the lead to the collar which looks lovely. The quality is fantastic too.
