We collect our beautiful boy this weekend and need to think of a name for him! We already have a Maggie so need something that goes with that - also something that passes the "shout in a field" test! Help!

Ha! Our cocker is actually Maggie May so Stewie could potentially work!

Love Monty, that's a definite possibility! We're just so excited, it's like having another child! grin

DH says Rod Stewart!

SilverHairedCat Wed 28-Mar-18 19:37:56

Or Jarvis (Cocker).

But he likes Rod more....!

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions!! They've been great! We made a short list and let the children choose in the end - let me introduce you to Monty Woofington grin (woofington was a MUST according to our DD13)

Only 2 sleeps to go before he's home!

Aaw that little face. He's beautiful.

I take it he's going to be known as Monty you're not actually going to shout 'Monty Woofington' across the park? grin

Oh you've named him! Hello Monty!

EnglishBreakfastTea Thu 29-Mar-18 20:25:18

Pigs, yes I will be calling him Monty, although DD has assured me that when she's walking with him that his full name should be used at all times grin I bet the full name sticks and the poor dog will be known as woofington! Should give the vets a laugh anyway!

Actually, I rather like Woofington it has a rather grand ring to it: Sir Monty Woofington. Yes, I like that.
