I’m looking for some advice on caring for my 12 year old collie. I dont think he’s old but the vet says he is!! He’s just recently got a little stiff on his legs and has been a bit less energetic, sleeps a bit more although otherwise he’s his usual slightly crazy neurotic self. I’m aware that cancer can get collies around this age and will get him checked out by vet. But does anyone have thoughts on diet or supplementation-other care for older dogs? I want to give him the best so he’s well and happy.
He’s usually pretty bright and active-our groomer says older dogs like a hairdryer on the legs as it warms and soothes the joints. He’s always loved the hairdryer though so who knows!
Thanks for your wise words!
