Thought about you today. My friend's little boy got a second with his puppy - only his 3rd ever show, bless.

Oh is she going with her girl?
I'm glued to it, I love watching all the dogs.

I want to know too Grin

More importantly did you both enjoy the atmosphere and did WolfieDog get lots of strokes from everyone?

BiteyShark · 09/03/2018 19:15

Yes although she was worried big girl might crash out of the ring in protest Grin

Hope it went well Wolfie! Great to see a wolfhound in the hound line up, wonder if they’re related?!

Hope Wolfie did well, such an achievement to be showing at Crufts.

We were there today and we didn't see any misbehaving Wolfhound's in the ring, though one tried to get in my backpack Grin. They were all fantastic. It was a wonderful day!

Bump for Wolfie, how did you get on??

A friend from my ring craft group got third in bitch and dog PG with her wolfies.

I have lots of terriers but one of mine is rehomed show dog from breeder and two of her puppies got 1st in their classes, we were very proud watching. She has won at crufts a couple of times but hates the noise so came to stay with me. I also have one of her pups but she does agility rather than showing.

Have enjoyed the coverage this year. I love little Ollie the rescue terrier in the agility.

Ooh how exiting, hope you got on well Wolfie!

I will never forget how kind Wolfie was to me last year when my own daft girl managed to eat her own liver (somehow she survived!). I always look out for Wolfie’s posts now. Hope you had a fantastic time! X

Wolfie don't be shy, we all want to know how it went from the 'other side'. It's always fascinating but most of us only ever experience it from the spectators view so intrigued to know what it's like from the competitors side.

Given the lack of response from Wolfie, I'm going to assume she won best of breed and is still out celebrating Grin

Haha. I am still on cloud nine. Not placed but we were in the second biggest wolfhound class of the day.
She was bloody awesome! Spent the day being cuddled and photographed by complete strangers (she isn't keen on people!)
She ran round the ring like a pro (but bit tired so not quite as fast or head up as ideal.) No pacing or lurching or cantering! She stood beautifully. Not leaning on me as she had in the past. She let the judge go over her without a flinch.
We went shopping together and she cuddled up on my lap too. My mum came with us. Being in the ring with her looking on was a truly proud moment. I wish I could share a pic but there isn't one of just her.
She slept all the next day and then was back to her normal muddy shenanigans. Thanks for thinking of us. Haven't been here much after some pretty horrible personal abuse.

So glad she (and you) enjoyed it as it's really noisy and busy isn't it so must have taken her a real effort to concentrate.

She just gazed at me (and my treats) in the ring! And we were tucked at the back of a hall and at the end of a row of benches so not too bad. She was fab!

Well done wolfiedog and wolfiehuman!

Sorry to hear about the personal abuse Flowers

Well done wolfie! I was there on Friday and kept wondering if any of the wolfiedogs I saw were you and yours.

Report
Wolfiefan · 15/03/2018 12:16

We were right next to the ring. If you cuddled any dogs I bet you met her.

Well done, Wolfie. I see Wolfiedog has the same coat as my staffie - excellent colour choice, may I say.

It's great. And the mud washed right off! Haha.
