Can we call a boy dog Beau? My parents say it's a girls name.
Or other name suggestions for a golden colour Sprocker Spaniel. (We already have a dog called 'Monty'.)

Beau is male! Belle is the feminine equivalent.

Of course you can call your pup Beau, as in Beau Geste, the old Gary Cooper film! I think it's a lovely name.

I'm wondering if they're thinking 'Bow' rather than "Beau". It's not their dog of course, but it just made me doubt using the name.
