I am having a liver and white Springer puppy in two weeks. He's a boy. He's going to be trained for hunting. Could I have suggestions for a name please.

You wouldn't think it would be so hard, but when I've chosen a pet name in the past, I always hear one I wish I had chosen. My husband likes Buddy, but I quite like Bailey. I've got two weeks to choose, and I am beginning to think it's not long enough.

toomuchconfusion - don't whatever you do choose Loki! With a beagle that would really be asking for trouble!

My dog has one of the names mentioned but he should have been called Chase as he had a tendency to fuck off when he feels like it and I spend a lot of time running after him 
My friend has a Springer pup and his name is Axel which is v cool.

Elphame - It had crossed my mind, the Dog of Mischief! We're already hoping that we've beagle proofed our back garden
Even if he is deserving of the name Loki I can't wait to pick him up and let the mischief begin.
I think Buddy or Bailey are great names for dogs. Good luck naming your pup ItMadeMyEyesWater I do know what you mean I'm finding it surprisingly difficult too!
