What has your dog achieved today

So proud of Floraldog this afternoon , he stood nose to nose with a husky , whilst both on leads and managed to actually say hello , sniff nicely and be civil . Huskies are like his dog nemesis , he usually cannot stand them and embarrasses me with hysterical barking . I’m sure tomorrow he will show me up again somehow but today it really feels like a break through moment .

Off-lead, sniffing around on a narrow track and a runner appeared suddenly from behind startling us both. He didn't chase after runner but came back to me. Result 😄

Dog managed to to wake me up with slobbering kisses this morning.
He thinks it's an achievement.
I'm inclined to disagree.

My elderly ddog that we adopted last week walked to the post box and back without being scared. She's is very nervous walking to the park across the road, fine at the park but not walking on the pavement by a busy road. So today we walked up our quiet road to the post box and she was a star

The three pointies in my house largely channelled Justbooked dog!

Though foster puppy showed that not only can she retrieve a thrown ball properly (ie, it comes straight back to your feet), I can now tell her to 'go get the ball' and she'll go and find the ball that ddog1 has left behind

He puked on the bus as I was taking him to daycare this morning, everyone looked disgusted at me and he was happy as anything. Fantastic Sad

Slept
Had lunch
Went for a walk

Barked at Amazon delivery person

Now whining for dinner.

My dog came and sat on my lap this morning for a nice cuddle which cheered me up before work and spent the day looking cute and dog like. She has also done some walking and sleeping and played with her ball.

A lady at a table next to us in the pub declared that DDog was ‘the laziest dog she had ever seen’. So that’s her big achievement for the day. To be far, she was sprawled out on a blanket, in a fleece coat and could barely be bothered to lift her head to accept a treat!

DDog number 2 managed to not only slip her collar but the full car harness we put her in for travelling. While belted into the car. While the car was moving. Thinking of renaming her Houdini.

He's been Yellow.

That's about all he ever does. He's very good at it though.

My dog managed to stay at home alone for four hours without barking at the window. I'm very proud of her. She was rehomed to me just 2 1/2 weeks ago and has been anxious. These last few days, I've noticed she seems much calmer and happier.

Managed to get an earlier dog groomer appointment than planned as his favourite groomer really wanted to do him before she’s off on holidaySmile

He hasn't peed on the sofa today. Or chewed any socks or pulled all of the bedclothes onto the floor. A slack day by his standards Hmm

A great achievement in her opinion...she finally managed to get my mobile phone and sink at least 5 minutes of chewing into it .

Mine yesterday succeeded in getting me to move out of my seat on the sofa so he could have it by jumping up on the arm and sliding down the 2 inch gap between the arm and me until I budged over. I know my place in the pecking order Grin

Report
Floralnomad · 16/11/2017 09:10

bitey mine does that all the time , why he can’t sit on the other side of me is beyond me.
