Please help me rehome my beautiful whippet

This is the hardest thing I have ever had to do. My personal circumstances have changed and I am in the process of being evicted.

I have a beautiful whippet who I am desperate to find a new home for.

He is the most loving dog ever. He sleeps with me in my bed curled up like a fox. He watches TV while sat on my knee😃 and is my ds best friend.

He is a rescue dog so we have had a few issues. He sometimes wees and poos in the house. Mainly in the kitchen - I have been told that this is because the lino floor is hard like where he had to do his business when he was in kennels. I use puppy pads which make cleaning easy. Also he chases (and will bite/shake ) small fluffy dogs and cats/ rabbits. We use a muzzle on him now which has been a great help.

He gets VERY distressed in kennels and I honestly don't not have any other options apart from rehoming.

Does anybody know of anyone that would offer him a loving home or foster him until he can be rehomed?

Was he a private rehome or from an actual rescue organisation? If it’s the latter they may well be able to help you find him a new home.

If that’s not an option I’d recommend getting in touch with either Just Whippets Rescue or JR Whippet Rescue. Both are foster home based and have people all over the country who may be able to help.

He was from a rescue organisation but they are mainly kennels based. I will look into the other rescue places you have suggested. Thank you .
