Every time we get to vote I am massively excited thinking of all the dogs I can go pet as a reward for voting...usually though there arent any as we live in a tiny village so I made damn sure I took mine today - although I did take him inside for all to pet!!!

Oh he is lovely! I could put him in a sandwich and eat him up. Handsome chap!

I'm taking mine later just so I can instagram her and send it in to the Telegraph online Grin

He looks like he is taking it all very seriously, bless him.

I really should set up an Instagram for Daniel, he has a facebook page but that's so I can post hundreds of photos without my friends unfriending me!!
I hope to see many pictures of pooches today :)

Ookmybanana If you smelt his farts you would not want to eat him!!!

So cute! My local council has banned all dogs. Sad

It ought to be compulsory to take your dog if you have one Wink

I just snuck a stroke off a lovely little dog doing an enormous yawn and simultaneous "I'm pretty bored sitting here" yowl.

Your spaniel pup is beautiful OP.

I'm sure a face so angelic could not produce noxious smells... thinks of own angelic pooch with an arse like the sulphur fumes of hell...ah. Yes. Still, he's gorgeous.

What?? No dogs Mip That needs to be contested. What is the point in voting if there are no dogs involved?! (I'm only half serious there....!)

DH just took ours, ddog got bored while he was voting and managed to knock the booth over Blush he tried to wander off but his lead snagged on the booth and pulled it down. He may have just derailed the general election...

Actually I did email the electrolyte commission (the bloke was really nasty) at the last poll but they never came back to me. And tweeting my council has been ignored.

Mine is coming with DH and I later. She's not keen on people crowding her as she is just a baby so we will take it in turns to wait outside with her.
And if anyone from any side tries to give me a sticker or approach me in any way I plan to ask them (on behalf of wolfiepup) what their policy on liver cake is. Free for all or for those under three or for those on low incomes! Grin

^^ That's a baby, Wolfie?

We need to make sure Mips electrolyte commission does not hear about Boynamedsue

I was so worried about Daniel peeing on the floor in the hall I didnt even think of him pulling the whole lot over!!

Wolfie, one of our local candidates actually has an Irish Wolfhound, it was only due to her campaigning I realised just how big your Puppy is going to get.
Instead of handing stickers out though if candidates handed out dog treats they may sway a few more votes Grin

I wanted to take mine but DH said no.

He has an 'I need space' orange bandana and he thought it showed my political leanings. he's right

DH and I are planning on taking DDog2 when we go later. I'm pretty sure dogs were allowed in our polling station last year so hopefully they'll let us take her in. She'll be over the moon if they do, she loves meeting people and will be convinced the whole set up is there just for her Grin

Oh! I didn't know I could take my dog. My polling station is in the town hall and not sure they let dogs in.

Report
Soubriquet · 08/06/2017 12:43

Here's mine. Didn't take her with me though as I went straight to town afterwards

If it stops raining, I'll be taking my dachshund later.

Gorgeous pups... I'd love to see one of wolfie's and soubriquet's together.

Here's my Leo at the polling station. She's put her (very large) pawprint in the box for the extra walks and treats party.

Yay more Dogs at polling station photos!
I wonder what a party for Dogs would stand for?!

Liver treats, obviously and laws on dog walks.
A designated dog park in every town and village with beach area, pond, woods and grass.
Dog-ternity leave for all new dogs, both puppies and adoptions

A cafe nearby is split in two, one-half allows dogs, the other doesn't. I think all cafes should be made to do this!

Ours is coming with us but I isn't think he's allowed in so DD will stand outside with him.
He would like to vote for muddy puddles, more cheese and kisses on his nose
