My dad wants to rehome my late mum's beloved dog. He is alone now and works 10-12 hour shifts. I know he can pay for a dog walker but she is used to being around people all the time (mum didn't work due to health problems) and my dad leaves the house at 530am and doesn't return home until 6pm every night and she is left in the kitchen alone all that time. He takes her for a walk, spends a few hours with her before she is put back in the kitchen until 5am when he takes her for a quick walk and she's on her own again. It's just not fair on her.
I also work and I'm not allowed pets or I would have taken her. Plus she isn't very tolerant of Dd and tends to growl at her as she gets fed up of her easily.
Can anyone offer any advice on how to rehome her?
