Mad schnauzer

My gorgeous lovely one year old mini schnauzer is suddenly very very needy.
I walk her a lot, long walks through the woods with lots of time off lead. Or long walks in my local park where she goes in the woods a bit but then gets to chase birds in the field. Then I might take her around the streets a bit later in the day and she has a walk last thing at night with my oh.
But suddenly she is following me around crying, howling and bringing me toys. She seems to want me to play ALL the time. I do play with her but there is a limit.
What do I do? I need to get other things done. What have I done wrong?
