Hi all just wanted your thoughts on this.
Have 2 golden retrievers aged two and five years.
We currently feed them in Millies. Younger dog has atopic dermatitis, so it important to feed a grain free formula. He is also allergic to chicken.
They both enjoy the kibble, the service is fantastic and I think it is an excellent product.
However... We are pretty strapped for cash at the moment. The quality of the dogs food is VERY important to me but I wondered what posters thought about the quality of Skinners? It has good reviews snd they do a hypoallergenic kibble.
They get about 2 hours off lead exercise per day and then mainly sleep!!

My Golden Retriever and Black Lab are on Skinners. It's the only thing the Retriever will eat. I'm very happy with skinners.

We also feed Millie's and if strapped for cash I'd go for Skinner, but you do know, if you dough needs grain free, it's not grain free?

Also, some of the Skinner's varieties are poor, eg musili mix, ruff and ready contain sugar, so stick to the field and trial varieties.

I know this sounds a bit topsy turvy (!), but could you afford, by using a 0% card, to buy in bulk when they have a 5% discount code?

We spent £200 on Millie's a few months ago using the deal. DH was a bit like WTF are you doing spending that much and buying that much food? It feels like our supply is never ending though, I've got 4 bags still left, 2 dogs.

Kept in the garage.

I've recently started feeding Skinners Field & Trial duck and rice - brilliant food for the money, same price as lots of cereal-based others but same ingredients as James Wellbeloved (at half the price). But agree not all the Skinners range is as good. Was glad to find a reasonably priced food for 3 large dogs and they're all glossy and healthy on it (and what comes out the other end is better than their previous food).
