I left my older dog and my Pomeranian puppy who is 5 months with my pet sitter for the first time last night, just for one night. I rehomed the puppy around 6 weeks ago, he had been trained on pads and I have worked hard to get him using the garden, we are about 95% there and even to start with he has used the pad or garden and not been deliberately dirty in the house.
My pet sitter returned the dogs this afternoon just before we got home, and I found out from her via a text that he has repeatedly cocked his leg over her living room furniture whilst he has been at her house. She feels he was marking his territory and has been fine about it, he is hopefully being neutered before he stays over again for our summer holiday. Has anyone else had this problem and is neutering likely to help?
