6 months ago Shock

And before I could persuade myself that buying one of their gorgeous dog beds was what DGround needed Sad

So, I am back at lusting after an Orvis Deep dish...

I have no dog and I am salivating at some of the dog beds available. Our old girl ignored every dog bed offered and slept with mum, acted as a backwarmer . :D

Grin

There is no way on this earth that DGround will ever be allowed in my bed - I barely tolerate DH there, DCs are only allowed for a Sunday morning cuddle and tickle and I cannot sleep with anybody in my personal space when I 'starfish' Grin

You need a dog to justify a dog bed purchase, SNF.

Orvis on ebay - but still rather steep

I really want this one - and the dog Blush

SpareDog as treated to a Tuffies nest a few months ago, and totally ignored it
I was so gutted! Especially after persuading DH it would be a good purchase and last for years.

Then suddenly about 3 weeks ago, she decided she did like the bed after all, and now won't leave it.

So that's a really long winded way of recommending a Tuffie nest!

Yes, I've looked at Tuffies too - they do sound the business but are not quite as gorgeous. Yes, I am a snob

We have a huge Tuffies for our labrador, he loves it and in hot weather we can scrub it snd leave to dry in the sun to combat excess doggie smell. Saving up for a second for our new pup.

I have to just pop up and recommend Joules for dog beds - theirs are fab!

I would love a dog.

Except our life at the moment isn't conducive to having a happy and well adjusted canine. Or our finances.

DH works full time every week, and my own hours are variable.

I miss having a mutt around.

Aw, sorry, Nutella, I know what it's like to grieve for a dog. And to hanker after one - took us 20 years to get to the point we could have our own. I hope there will be a dog in your life at some point Thanks

Joules beds look gorgeous, but may be a bit small for a leggy grey?

I know that Tuffies are likely the sensible option.

Or getting a memory foam cut-off from ebay and making my own cover

Ddog has a memory foam bed from Kip Dog Beds - well made and Ddog says it's very comfy (not as eye-wateringly expensive as Orvis either)
