Does anyone give their dogs raw treats like chicken wings thighs legs or pigs trotters?

I've bought mines a marrow bone but the daft dog just try's to burrow it in his basket

I've heard raw is good for them but I'm a bit scared to give him like a chicken wing etc!

Yes all that stuff is fine. Mine frequently has a chicken leg or lamb neck, usually outside in the garden so there's no mess to clean up. He's been having them since he was a puppy without any problems. I also get some knuckle bones or ribs from the butchers which keeps him going for ages. I find if he isn't overly hungry he tries to hide them too, so wait until he needs feeding properly then try it out.

I have also bought pizzles in the past which he adores but they stink to high heaven, definitely one for the garden. ( bull penis 😕)

My two are raw fed and have chicken wings, poultry necks, pizzles, ribs etc they love them, my collie frequently buries her treasures in the garden, she seems to like them best when they are filthy and covered in soil.

yes our 16 week pup has raw - as her main diet and supplemented with puppy kibble.
She loves raw Chicken wings - bit scary the first time, and she has to eat them outside as would prefer to drag them under table (lovely bacteria!), I try and vary what she is eating but she will have a wing every other day at the moment.

She has had a couple of marrow bones but gets bored easily with them.

He fed wet meat with mixer he's got a really sensitive stomach!

But it should be OK as a treat every now and then do you think?

If he's got a dicky tummy avoid marrow bones - it's really rich.

I always raw fed my Labradors - they loved it, but SconeSpaniel appears to be allergic to chicken so we are using Eden with the supplement of beef bones and sardines/mackerel.

Morrisons are usually a good source of bones - beef and lamb - for not too much money.

Chicken is probably best to start with, marrow bone a bit rich.
We buy big bags of frozen chicken joints from Tesco or Sainsburys as part of raw food diet.
My rescue dog didn't realise raw chicken leg was food at first, he sat on the lawn guarding it with his paws for hours. Now he gets really excited and wolfs it down.

Chicken wings are OldGirls favourite! Our only issue is how few crunches she eats ten in, it terrifies me. She'd inhale them if she could.
