Help!
My lab is moulting, but only her guard hairs, and I can't find anything to groom her effectively.
She is stupidly hairy, so gets a couple of trips to a grooming parlour each year. Her most recent trip was about 3 weeks ago, and they've done a great job of getting rid of her undercoat, but her guard hairs are out of control.
Furminator is no good, zoom groom isn't much getter. Slicker brush is useless and she is scared of the noise it makes. I've also tried the dyson attachment and a bristle brush.
None. Of. Them. Work and it's driving me mad.
A zoom groom in the bath is about the only thing that slightly works, but she is so miserable in the bath (cold, stagnant water is obviously her favourite place in the world )
Does anyone have any suggestions? The Hoover is working overtime, and I'm getting through lint rollers at a rate of knots
