When you get the lead out to take your dog out for a walk, how do they react ?
I have a one year old springer who is just so calm and laid back its bordering on ridiculous.
You get the lead out and he walks to the sofa and sits down. Trying to put a harness on him like this is hard as it goes under his stomach. Then the lead. And then you have to try and coax him off the sofa. Which is hard.
This morning when I got him ready , he got up and went to a different sofa and proceeded to fall asleep.
I know that a very excited dog would be hard to cope with but even a tail wag would help.
He is fine when he is out and about but trying to get him to the front door is so hard work.
Anyone else's dog like this?
