This morning, out with ddog and his wee looked very very dark. He's his normal happy self, could this be due to changing food?

It could, I suppose.

Give him lots of water and see what happens.

OK he aways has full access to a massive bowl of water but will make sure he drinks lots

I'm not a vet btw, but do know that what we eat affects the colour of our wee grin

What food is it? Does it have additives etc?

Madblondeog Sun 13-Mar-16 10:16:39

Well that was my thinking too. He's been changed to arden grange but he is prone to picking up any food on the floor too

Shit I think there is blood in it....

Think you will have to go vet so.....

Could be a urine/ bladder infection.
Can you get hold of any cranberry extract?
I use it from holland and barrett on my dog and it is very effective.

Ah, blood is a game changer.

I'd at least phone the vet tomorrow.

Is he still happy enough in himself? Could not be blood, but a liver problem <guessing>

He is happy in himself, a bit slower but it's been a lot warmer today.

Going to take him tomorrow as I am worried
