Saffy is missing Saffy is my friend's black lurcher, who went missing on a walk on Sunday morning. She was last seen at Kilgarth Landfill Site, Gartgill Road, Coatbridge, Scotland, ML5 2EQ, NS 71894 67499. Her owner, my friend Kat, is frantic, and we're just desperately trying to get word out and try to find her. Saffy is a rescue dog who suffered horrific cruelty in hear early life and is badly scarred, and the fear is that someone has picked her up, seen the scarring and hung onto her thinking they are 'rescuing' her, when in fact she is now a dearly, dearly loved pet. Her original story is in the official press release here (warning - there are some extremely graphic images in that link, as she was found with chemical burns all over her body). If anyone is in the Coatbridge area and can help search, or if you could just share her story on Facebook to help get word out, everyone looking for her would be so grateful, as she has been out in the cold for two nights now.
