On gumtree near me there's a 16 month old pap/chi bitch for sale. She has a litter of 4 week old puppies and the person is selling her! That can't be right is it?

Poor thing looks miserable and I'm having to resist seeing if I can go get her

My dog is 16 months old and I can't even imagine the mentality of someone who'd think that is an OK age for a dog to have a litter. She is still a total baby herself.

Looks like a front for a puppy farm. I'd stop looking on Gumtree and similar. So long as we do, we're perpetuating puppy farming and idiot backstreet breeders. I reckon someone should start a campaign to inundate Gumtree with complaints about every single animal for sale on there, and also bombard MPs with letters they have to answer - about time this trade was stopped.

They said it was an accidental litter , have sold dad and pups are also advertised. They admit in advert that she's too thin and is sad and confused!

Some kind of restriction on breeding needs to be passed.
