What do you reckon they would learn to do first?

Mine would probably learn how to turn door keys when the cat 😻 opposite was stalking past...

Mine can already open any door in the house, including tricky ones, plus chicken runs and barn doors without opposable thumbs! Thank God she hasnt got them!

Haha re; microwave! She is super intelligent, so Im sure she could learn :p I've had to put bolts on the internal doors to keep matters under control!

Mine would read a book. He's very intellectual.

Yep. That's what he'd do (collie)

Open the stairgate to get into the kitchen. Well, ddog2 would. Ddog1 isn't the brightest, and I think he'd struggle to do anything.

DDog2 would also like to master the remote control so he could choose what to watch on tv. He likes wildlife programmes and cricket

My dog would be able to hook his own toys from under the sofa. At the moment he lies on his side, makes eye contact with it and sings to it, with no success at all. I often taunt him about his lack of opposable thumbs before getting his lost toy for him.

Can already open fridge and hold bonios upright to suck them or angle in mouth better.

Open the treatie jar.

Invert dog bowl all over the floor to indicate disgust with food and not being treated as a human.

Squirt dog shampoo in my eyes.

Wave tempting things in front of foxes and next door's cat.

Use spade to dig to Australia.

Drive car. No licence needed as dogs no longer need licences (boom).

Given that its taken us 3 years to teach ddog to open doors that are ajar with his nose I doubt he'd even realise he could do anything extra. I thought labs were supposed to be intelligent when I got him!

DM dog would use her thumbs to pinch people to get attention and strokes, if that failed to get the desired response she would run away as if she'd done nothing wrong. Then she'd unlock the door and run after every cat in the village. She's a furry pain that one Grin

Our 2 can already open the cupboards, oven, microwave and fridge....so probably they'd want to be able to open babygates and the back door...

Well, MermaidDog #1 would, MermaidDog #2 has no brain, so he would just follow the other and get himself into trouble without realising!

Mine would figure out how to open tins of sardines and stuff his own kongs.

Dog 2 might suck his thumb, but it would take him a while to notice he could. One of his greatest strengths is his digestive system.

Dog 1 would start writing dog shaming signs for Dog 2.
