A lovely scruffy terrier cross of some kind (mongrel). Probably millions of them in rescue.

Probably also millions on gumtree advertised as a 'Jackerdale' or such like for hundreds of pounds.

I thought he might be a 'mutt'...his moustache doesn't seem 'right' for a schnauzer.

There's definitely schnauzer in him. I'm not sure about the ears as I can't see them properly in the photo. He's lovely. Is he yours?

The more I look, the more convinced I am that he is a schnauzer, a black and silver one.

My first thought was Miniature Schnauzer too! Just slightly scruffy
I think he is too small to be a Bearded collie or Beardie mix.
