Yep! Fine! My staff loves them! Only thing that lasts more than 5 mins

I'd avoid the old shoes. He will draw no distinction between old and new shoes and they will all be fair game.
Enjoy him!

Pizzle !!

DorynownotFloundering Sun 29-Nov-15 22:43:55

That's the name for them!!

Are they very hard wearing? My lab goes through deers antlers like there's no tomorrow.

He shouldn't be snapping at your hands and feet though. That's bad behaviour and you need to get some advice on that.

It's pretty normal for a 15 week puppy to still be mouthing your hands and feet...giving him something else to do is exactly how you do deal with that.

MsAdorabelle...it takes my rottie about an hourish to finish a pizzle stick, so no, not hard wearing like an antler or bone, but more of a chew than more processed things that last two bites.

A foot long antler? Blimey. The ones he's had so far have been half that size and cost a tenner or so. I'm going to have to find a wholesaler.

I have lots of cows hooves scattered around. Sometimes I put his food in them. (I've got a 15 week old working cocker too) Only danger is worse than bloody lego if you stand on one.

I don't think you can't give antlers to puppies can you? My dog loves pizzles but they do stink. The nothing on you is because his teeth are hurting give him frozen lumps of carrot and bits of Apple as well. Frog also loves plastic spray can lids hairspray/frylight especially as it's a bit softer.
