Hi guys, just looking for some advice about possibly getting a dog or a puppy after christmas. I've been brought up with dogs so aware that it is a long term committment so don't want to get one unless I am absolutely certain I can give it the attention/exercise that it needs.
It won'g be until after christmas as I plan on moving house to somewhere with a garden. I'm currently at uni and will be in 1 and a half days a week and on those days I would plan on paying for doggy daycare or someone to come to the house and play with them and walk or if they got along with my mother's dog she would have it at her house and walk it etc. The others days I would be at home except for school runs/popping out to the shops and would be able to walk in the morning, lunch time, after tea and let out in the garden before bed. We live near the beach and are used to taking my mother's dog out n the beach for an hour whatever the weather.
Does this sound like I have enough time for a dog? I see lots of people getting a puppy or a young dog then selling it on facebook after 6 months because they don't have enough time for it and it annoys me so much so I want to make sure that what I am able to offer is suitable before jumping into it.
