Urgent Help! Home boarding in Bristol

We are travelling to visit family abroad from September 14th to the 28th, and unfortunately our usual doggy sitters (my parents!) have just booked a trip over the same time.

Our three year old crossbreed Miso is extremely friendly and loving, but doesnâ??t do well in ordinary kennels - she was rescued at 4 months and had been caged her whole life up until that point, so itâ??s understandable really - so weâ??re desperately trying to find somewhere nice for her to have her own little holiday! Unfortunately everyone we've contacted so far has simply never gotten back to us. Has anyone have any recommendations?

Have you tried Friends for Pets ? They split Bristol into South or North depending on where you are but try contacting Jim in South Bristol first. My puppy stayed with him when he was 11 months and is due to go back next month and thoroughly enjoyed himself. They have a website if you google.

Thank you! We have tried Bristol North, but not South. Will give them a bell today

Can you look for somewhere outside of bristol if the local ones are full? Might mean dropping her off the night before but if you're otherwise stuck it might be an option!
