We've come on holiday today, to Norfolk. Eric has been beside himself with joy since he saw the suitcase come down. He was as good as gold in the car for the three hours it took to get here, slept about 90% then started trembling with excitement once we got here. He's done zoomies round the garden, and explored every bit of the house and now keeps wandering in and out checking that we aren't leaving. He was a bit of a pain when we were unpacking as he kept jumping in the boot (it's an insignia so a fair leap for a tiny dog) so I set him on taking his toys out.
He will be thrilled to get on the beach later. Do your dogs like holidays?

Oh how lovely
My old JRT used to love holidays. My parents would take her away in their camper van and she'd get ridiculously excited as soon as they started loading it up. She went through a few pet passports as they were filled up with stamps. Her favourite destination was Italy.
