The doghouse

Just want to tell someone about my spaniel.

My poor grumpy old spaniel has been diagnosed with prostate cancer which doesn't have a very good outcome attached to it.

He's my parents dog really but we got him when I was 14 and he really does feel like a little brother to me. He's the main reason I come to see my parents so many times a week!

I'm having a 'sleepover' with him as they're both working and as he lies snoring on the bed next to me (don't tell mum and dad Wink ), I'm so upset that this will probably be the last time he keeps me awake with his snoring and farting and kicking all night.

I'm heartbroken. My poor wee boy.

I'm so sorry. whenever I go to my mums and dogsit for my girl who we got when I was then same age as you I sneak her into bed! I love her so much and can't bear the idea of her not being around much longer, she is 11. I hope you can take some comfort that he has had a lovely life and will know how loved he is. Thanks
