We are getting a female working cocker spaniel in jan.
Struggling with names, she is black with a white marking on her chest.
Any suggestions?

we have a males cocker with similar colouring. If we had got a girl she would have been Betty.
I know 3 cockers called Molly and 2 called Mabel.
If you search I started a thread and there were lots of black and white name suggestions - domino, Oreo etc.

Jarvis. Not just because it's mildly amusing - it's a nice name anyway.

Poppy?
Elsa?
Tilly?

My parents have and have had spaniels with these names. Fab dogs.
I like Oreo too! Met a cockapoo with that name the other week. She was adorable :-)

I love some of the names mentioned here! Mabel, Betty and Oreo in particular would be excellent names.

Mines called Jarvis. It was amusing till he kept on growing and became a sprocker not a cocker.

Anyway, my friends cocker is called Bessie and it suits her

If you look on the cockersonline forum, there are some dogs with great names.

We have a working cocker exactly the colour you describe. Ours is a boy and his name is Ziggy. He's 18 weeks now and it has been brilliant - the best thing we've done as a family.
