Hi everyone, I've hijacked my new Mummy's MN account to come say hello to you all.

I'm new, like really really new, I'm just 9 weeks old and I got picked up by my new parents yesterday (I feel strange calling them parents - you should see them, they seem a bit nuts to me but more about that later)

I was scared in the car going to my new home but my new Mummy stroked me all the way and let me hide my eyes in her coat. Her coat felt nice, I really wanted to wee on it but I managed to hold on until I got indoors and promptly pee'd on the living room floor.

I found a box in the kitchen to hide in for a while as I was a bit confused - these people are nice but I wondered where my rescue Mummy was and my friends from the rescue house.
I livened up later and began to explore. It was then I noticed that one of the parents had placed my puppy pad in a place I didn't want it to be - after trying to inform them with my sharp needle teeth, which they both thought was cute I then I had to show them I meant business...... so I done a wee and a poo where I wanted the pad to go.
The Mummy one seems to have more in the brain department because she got the message immediately and moved my pad - I've complied since with the exception of once where I positioned my little bum over the edge and wee'd on the mat below..... I don't want them thinking I'm perfect do I :)

The Daddy one... Hmm! what can I say..... He appeared highly unimpressed when it became crystal clear that the expensive spray he bought and used to prevent me exploring cables and wires DIDN'T deter me at all, it stinked a bit but not enough to stop me sniffing and pawing them.
For that very reason they decided it would be best for my safety to cage me in the apartment passage and kitchen overnight...... Safer?..maybe. Better for them?.... Not at all :) I don't care that I had the bed and pillow my new Mummy made me nor that I had food, water, toys and toilet facilities.
I can't yet tell the time but I managed to give them HELL every hour on the hour ALL night. I'm not stupid, I knew they were there, I could hear them but I wanted to be in. Mummy gave up trying to sleep at 6.15 and got up to make me breakfast and praised me for doing a huge poop on the pad - she said I was a good girl but her face told a different story

I told you they were nuts, didn't I?
I still have to make them pay for a few things from today - My name..... It was Pigi, but apparently that means something different in English so they renamed me Mina, I quite like it but both of the idiot parents have called me Pigi-Mina like it's one word - are they both stupid

Get your Mum to look in the files section of the Facebook group 'Dog Training Advice and Support' and tell her to ditch the pads, they'll only confuse you and make it twice as long to learn the rules.

Yep Lilcamper is on the money there :) a big girl like you will be peeing and pooing outside much quicker without pads.

Welcome Pigimina!

Thanks both, I can't really do much about the pads at present. She's used to them but the worst part being - We live in a top floor apartment so no garden to run to quickly. She's not yet fully immunised anyway at the moment so couldn't go out anyway.
I'll have a look at the FB page you recommend though, Thanks.

I'll attempt some pics again, they wouldn't upload yesterday.
