I was vaguely wondering about volunteering with one of my dogs through PAT because she is the loveliest dog in the world and highly therapeutic (not at all biased). Having looked at the temperament advice, I'm not sure she'd qualify, mainly because she does pull on the lead.
However I saw that you need to have your pet fully vaccinated (she is, obviously) or 'homeopathically protected'. What's that all about? I'm now (possibly unfairly) a bit dubious about an organisation that considers homeopathic vaccination a valid method of preventing serious animal diseases. Or am I missing something?
On a less argument-inducing note, what experience has anyone had with volunteering with their dog? Did the recipients seem to benefit and did your dog enjoy it?
