Flea treatment for the house?

DP has been working at someone else's house, the person in question has two cats is a bit of a hoarder and she never cleans. Her house is full to bursting of stuff, her sister died over 18 months ago and all her stuff (furniture etc) is in this house too.

DP has almost finished there and the poor bloke is covered in bites, absolutely covered, so much so that he almost looks like he has chicken pox! He reckons it's fleas as he had one on his arm yesterday while he was there. The thing is, me and DD (but not the dog :o ) are now getting bitten too so we think he's brought them home with him. What can we get to de flea the house? The biting is driving us all bonkers and poor DD is only 3, she doesn't understand why she is so itchy!

I thoroughly recommend Indorex. Bought from amazon for £10.95 with free delivery.

Our dog picked up fleas from daycare and they got in the house pretty quick. We got two cans of Indorx and blasted the house, boil washed cushion covers and dog blankets then sprayed, then spot-on treated dog. We are clear now. I think there are fleas on the lawn (yuck) as when he lies on the lawn I spot a random flea on him, by the time he comes inside for five minutes the active ingredients in the Indorex have killed the random flea.
