That's it, really. It's what the vet called him last week, and he is. He keeps being desperate to go out for a walk and five mins later is desperate to come home again. He's afraid to go for a walk in the dark. Thunder scares him, loud noises; he has run away from us in the park when boys let off firecrackers it a car backfired.

He's just turned two, wire haired jrt, we got him at 5 months. Never stops licking DH's face.

How can we reassure him and give him more courage?

I was quite sceptical but I have a noise phobic (but now much improved) dog aand she responded well to dorwest skullcap and valerian tablets.

Oh and I should say as well that if at all possible I would recommend consulting an apbc registered behaviourist to put together a plan to help desensitise him to his fears.

Thanks.

What's a dorwest skullcap?

He is so needy....but affectionate.
