Covered dog beds for larger dogs?

I want to try and find a warm and draft-free dog bed for the hound but I am struggling to find any covered ones that are big enough. She is only a beagle but the largest ones seem to be about 60 cm diameter which would be a bit cramped. Has anyone seen any for bigger dogs?

Have you tried looking on ebay? Huge variety of beds, mostly new rather than 2nd hand.

It's not covered, but I have this and think it is fab - really warm and draft free

We have one of these www.sleepypawsdogbeds.com/ancol-timberwolf-extreme-waterproof-dog-beds-108-p.asp

It's brilliant - completely washable and tough fabric. They come in different sizes, ours is for our Boxer, but our German Shepherd manages to squeeze into it then sulks because he doesn't quite fit

Thanks for the ideas. I was thinking of something with a cover over the top, a bit like this hamburger bed or this igloo

When she sneaks upstairs she goes straight for the nearest bed and jumps under the duvet so I'm looking for something really warm to try and convince her that her bed is best!

We just use a crate with a cover over it. She has extra blankets inside when it's cold to snuggle into.

I don't know if anyone has linked to one but you can get giant 'pitta pocket' beds for dogs, it's basically a dog sized fleecy/faux furry padded pitta pocket :o if you are on facebook, search for 'Forest Fleece'.
