A bloody £4 odd Chuck It one as well! I'd only had a week, spent 20 mins looking for it but no chance. Any tips anyone?

Oops! A week's a long time in Dog World. We use the rubber balls which are about the same size as a tennis ball but more durable.

Oh I am so fed up of this too!

Ddog loves chasing his toys. He's great at bringing them back... until a more interesting sniff comes along... then it's left in a massive grassy field, or muddy ditch, or thorny hedge, anywhere where I can't find it.

I reckon £20 in toys in the last month, you can see the attraction of chucking a stick tbh (I know it's dangerous, just see the attraction!)

Feeling the pain Smile

I laugh at how I said ooooh an orange and blue rubber ball I'll easily spot that in the grass, not when it's camouflaged under a layer of mud

We normally lose balls on ropes because the other half has managed to throw them in a tree/round a telephone cable/over a fence Confused

Yep ours is the same. And yet we still keep buying them for her Confused

Still we now buy tennis balls from sports shops (cheap dog ones get bitten in half within 20 mins) and small rugby balls, which are easy to find in the field. No longer to we buy the lovely strong long lasting balls for a tenner though...got fed up of watching the dog watching those float down the river with a forlorn expression Grin

I taught the dog to find hidden toys at home...it was actually to keep him busy while he was on house rest, but the result is that I say find it and off he goes until he comes back with the lost ball.

I highly recommend it even it was accidental to start with, lol
