My lovely lurcher has now discovered the sheer joy of bounding through woodlands and bracken, but he's so fine coated that he's getting little abrasions on his front and between his front legs so I'd like to get him something thats light (as he gets hot running hard), but will protect him.

He's pretty small, so large whippet/small lurcher size.

Anyone seen anything nice?

I know I've seen a jumper style that looks quite good... just need to work out where!

Mistlehound has one of these coats - the cordura - and they can be made with a T piece underneath which might be rather good for him. She's already been wearing it this year - its not really thick fleece in it, but it is good for warmth or wet.

Speak to Scuttlebutter at Milgi Coats Here - as an expert pointy owner herself, she will definitely be able to help, if not with a coat, certainly with advice.

I found a fab jumper on Meggie Moo. And then had to buy a velvet lead and an ace reindeer woolly hat too. Oops.

Lovely! I've clearly underpriced myself for the ones I've said I would do for LL funds... might need to up the price for any more (but need to get round to doing the ones I said I would do!)

Equafleece do jumpers with longer 'arms' , there are a couple of lurchers around here that wear them .My terrier has a couple of their jumpers and they wash and dry beautifully .
