Pretty much everywhere is full.

The best thing is to Google Rottie specific rescue & your area. There are also large breed rescues. Speak to the rescue staff and they will have more up to date information on spaces, foster homes etc.

Obviously if nobody in the extended family and/or behavioural work can help.
Please don't dump her on gumtree or similar for her welfare.

Agree with other posters. Sadly there are just too many dogs in rescue and many end up being PTS. Hard though it is to say, being put to sleep isn't the worst option for a dog - ending up as a fighting/bait dog would be far worse. Have you tried any other options? For example a Dog Games harness (with rings for double ended lead on back and front) may help the dog stop pulling? Maybe one of the younger stronger members of the family could help with the dog walking?

oh how sad :( Could you possibly take the dog on? You are going to have trouble rehoming him im afraid. You need someone with experience of the breed and not one of the idiots who have them as a status symbol dog. How old is the dog? What about a dog walker? that means your grandad wouldn't have to walk him. I have had a rescue rottie in the past and they can be hard work - the dogs homes are full of them and most of them end up being PTS sadly.

You can try rottie rescue locally but they will be fully stretched, the dogs trust probably wont take him - i think i would be looking at ways to keep the dog and help with the walking, which i know is difficult as you are so far away. Do you have young children?

Have you been in touch with the breeder? Good breeders will take a dog back at any time for any reason.

Some of those are nationwide, some of the others must cover the area.

Couldn't somebody arrange a trainer to come and teach her how to walk nicely? It's not a massive behavioural issue and is usually pretty easy to solve.
