Loxicom for a 5 month cocker?

Just a quick bit of advice pls...

Pup's back teeth are coming through but there is an infection (his mouth was a little whiffy and I had a good look since one of our old girls got infected skin flaps if we weren't careful.) He was eating well and didn't actually seem bothered by his teeth at all...

Now after seeing the vet (I wasn't there) he won't eat and seems very subdued. He's had his first dose of antibiotics, that's all that was prescribed. I'm wondering if something was poked and he's now in pain. We have left over Loxicom and can adjust for weight - am tempted to try it. The only thing I can see on internet is not for pups under 6 weeks.

Any thoughts ?

You can't give him it if he won't eat, it's with or after food only.

Ah ok, was in the habit of giving with breakfast but didn't realise it had to be given with food. Thanks.

I'd strongly advise against giving Loxicom except on veterinary advice. My 9 year old was sick on it last year - obviously it's fine for some dogs but needs to be used with caution.

Many thanks for the replies; bouncy, hungry pup is back again Grin
