Teaching bite inhibition to puppy

We have a 9 week old springer spaniel who is so lovely and friendly and excellent in all ways. But boy is he a play biter. May poor feet, ankles and hands. It's worse when he's over-excited, but he will sometimes launch himself unexpectedly and sink his gnashers in.

We have some success with yelping and also immediately giving him toys to chew on instead. We also take him into the garden to run off some energy.

Any other tips? Any good chewy toy recommendations? We have some pulling rings, a nylabone, a wubba kong and a normal kong which we rotate during the day.

He also swings on my hair when I play with him which I need to discourage too!

Thanks
