For the pre 12 week period. I'll be pushing a buggy too so need hands relatively free Grin

I believe there is an MNer who carries her dog in a Peanut Shell (I think that's what it's called!) baby sling when he gets tired.

Is there a bit of the buggy you could pop him in?

What breed?
And what pushchair?

Pouch sling is only good for calm little dogs like Stratters Little Dog, not a hands free solution for a wiggly pup Grin, unless you want to teach him diving!

Oh gawd invisible. I've bought one now! And am sure puppy will wriggle out Sad as it cost £38.... Yet to see it as from amazon. The pup is a Bichon and the buggy an iCandy.

Aquelven, not sure ds would agree with this plan Grin

Well that's a doddle then he can go securely in the pushchair basket. Which model ICandy is it? I need to know whether it is a bar on the chassi or whether you'll need a bungee or similar.

The peanut shell will be deep enough for him to snuggle into but I'd push the pram with one hand to be safe Grin

Sorry not to get back sooner, just checked for messages now. Thanks for replying. It is a cherry and the puppy would fit in the basket (which lies under the seat). But wouldn't he jump out? What's a peanut shell? Sorry to be dim.

Peanut shell is a pouch sling brand.

My lab went in the push chair basket

Wrap the lead around the two u shaped bars on the chassis and thread through the hand and twist it round till you have a short length of lead above the middle of the basket and clip to the dogs collar. A familiar blanket and lots of treats and dog will be fine. If he's a real fidget but a clip on the leash in the middle to keep it tight so he can't shift the length of the lead to the edge of the basket.

As long as he can sit up, lie down and turn around he'll be fined for short trips out Smile
