Dog rocks safe ???
(15 Posts)Does anyone know the answer? Everything I read says so but a friends vet apparently says to use these for 6 months then another product for 6 months ??
I use the australian dog rocks and you have to change them regularly anyway.
Did the vet say what the other product was?
I can try and find out .... Our lawn looks slightly better I think !!
I use dog rocks, Australian kind, you are recommended to change them every 3 months.
My lawn looks better too.
dog rocks??!?!?
What are dog rocks?
You buy them in Pets at Home and put them in the dogs drinking water and it stops them leaving brown patches when they wee on the lawn !
Have to admit when I first saw them I thought you had to train the dog to wee on the actual stone!!
Wow that's pretty amazing! And they actually work? Wouldn't be any good for My MILs dogs though, they both adore stones and would just play with them and then lose them in the garden
My dogs don't really notice them in the drinking water - maybe cos they are large dogs and have a washing up bowl for their drinking water!!.

I think they're safe but they didn't work here.
I had dog rocks, didn't work

We had lots of yellow patches too. I have trained her to wee in one area on pebbles! Much cheaper, only cost being, a piece of ham for seeing in the right place!!
