The doghouse

Would it be terribly wrong to buy all my dogs some of these...

Lovely slippers?

I'd dye them of course, so weren't so pink.

I'm getting ever so slightly fed up of mopping my floors and cleaning my sofa only to find paw prints on them minutes later.

Devil Dog actually walked through the hall while I was still mopping it earlier today. I swear he was smirking when he did it Hmm Grin

Hmmm think the dog has a look of distress on it's face.
Mobile mop would think I had bought him four toys to destroy.

Hmm. It possible Devil Dog would also think they were new toys to eat. It's also possible that he would bite me when I was trying to measure his feet or get them on him. It's worth a try, though, no?

I don't think Grey would be bothered. She is terribly laid back, Whippy would probably lose the ability to move her legs, but that means even less paw prints.

I think your dogs would prefer this

paw plunger less humiliating and more effective

Hmm. Surely if your dog has S or XS feet it's easy enough just to pick it up and wipe its feet? Asks the bitter woman who has to go through the palavar of wiping each enormous fist-sized paw, one by one, twice a day, like some kind of mutinous dog-valet.

They are great!Wink
I have a huge GSD who has reached Grumpy Old Codger status and will not sit and let you dry his feet. Best we can do is line the place with towels and hope most of it dries off as he walks over them to sit wherever he likes! He now also needs a nappy :(

Totally reasonable to buy them, but totally unreasonable to dye them Shock

Wearing pink will not make your dog gay you know Hmm

We got the Therapaws for one of our greys who had/has corns. It was not a success, to put it mildly. Surely the muddy paw prints and filthy sofa are the price we pay for the love of our dogs? Wink Grin We are seriously considering a steam mop for this winter - probably a better use of resources.

Actually, I hate those boots with a passion. I wouldn't blame your dog if he chewed them contemptuously.

It's not mud that is the problem. It's my own idiocy. I stupidly insisted on light coloured, slightly sheened wooden flooring, despite every-ones protests that it would constantly look dirty no matter how often I cleaned it and high gloss black tiles in the kitchen, despite similar protests. Clean paws leave marks too, in fact the cleaner the paws and the cleaner the floors the more noticable the marks are Hmm. I should just stop mopping I think Grin. And as for the idiot who bought a cream sofa Hmm Angry t'was me

A cream sofa?!!!!!!!!!!!!! Am torn between admiration, horror and a kind of bemused wonder at your sheer courage and persistence. And the high gloss black tiles too. I know the type you mean - have admired them in another friend's kitchen while secretly uttering a prayer of thanks that it wasn't my job to keep the buggers clean. One sneeze and they look dirty.

Yes I am saving up for a new sofa. Dark brown this time. I have learned my lesson. I think I provide the manufacturer's of leather cleaner with around 90% of their profits atm and the bloody thing still never looks clean Hmm. Dd2 sees the sofa as a giant colouring book, which is helpfull. It was second hand fortunately and cost less than ÂŁ100.

I had such visions of a beautifull, clean, light and airy house when I moved here Hmm. Dd2 also sees the cream walls as a giant colouring pad.

Fortunately my brief and rare obsessions with clean are usually short lived. At the moment it has been brought on by sheer panic after my mum suggested we move the annual family x-mas party to my house, owing to her savage dog and the very high possibility of it biting an elderly relative.

Those slippers are really cute and my cavie would look adorable in them, but my beagle would eat his feet!

DS wanted monster feet slippers, so i got them for him, unfortunately he can't wear them as beagle attacks them!

My cat has just snorted in derision and said he would make mincemeat of any dog that passed his door wearing those. But seeing as he is sporting <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=pics+of+cats+in+clothes&hl=en&client=firefox-a&hs=DJ3&sa=X&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&biw=1024&bih=649&tbm=isch&prmd=imvns&tbnid=uT9lFHEJt9gb-M:&imgrefurl=weheartit.com/Olxx_/sets/19865-lol&docid=oIVCcWZesd00dM&w=240&h=200&ei=avCQTpXFEsOO8gOLrLkU&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=436&vpy=370&dur=938&hovh=160&hovw=192&tx=98&ty=103&page=10&tbnh=137&tbnw=147&start=137&ndsp=15&ved=1t:429,r:12,s:137" rel="nofollow noindex" target="_blank">this gettup tonight, he has no room to talk.

Good Lord - who knew there was such a wide variety of doggy shoes available. I think I would actually wet myself if I saw them on a real dog on the street....
