Hoorah the mop and I managed three whole rounds at agility without him doing the wall of death round the arena. My problem was I was being toooo nice, so when I ran off I was doing the whole high pitched excited calling back which has probably made him run faster. When I changed to my tough vet lady I mean it voice he immediately start paying attention to me and did it properly. He off course got the biggest hug and fuss at the end of each round.
So I may see some of you at some shows next summer, my dream is slowly coming true Grin.

Oh officially measured, I've got to get him registered on the activity register first.
Maybe we can set up a vets agility competition, I have two nurses who have also being doing training with me. After all the older men have that BVA golf society. Having thoughts now maybe getting drug company to sponser? Then again I have a practice to run, three nurses to train and a DD to look after.

Congratulations! Collie pup and I are on a waiting list to start a beginner agility class in the New Year. Given that she now regularly leaps on to the top of her crate, it can't come a moment too soon Shock. She is now 10 months and well and truly in her teenage phase. I am increasingly sceptical that I will have her trained well enough to start the course, though. Recall, at the moment, is very much a matter of "talk to the paws 'cause the ears ain't listening".
