Arden Grange Dog Food

Does anyone use this food for their dogs and how do you find it if you do. I'm asking because my lurchers had it at at the kennels and by the small solid poos they have done this evening it seems to have suited them well!

I currently give them a greyhound/lurcher food.

My Lab has been on Arden Grange since weaning (so 2 years). It agrees with him so I see no reason to change.

From what I understand it is one of the quality dog foods. My neighbour has told me about www.berriewoodwholesale.co.uk/sec/146/Dried-Complete-Dog-Foods/ as a good, cheap supplier - he has 2 large dogs thriving on Arden Grange.

Tried tinned Arden Grange from a show promotion but that didn't suit my lab.

Thanks for that. I'll give it a try. Smile

One of my dogs has it - we tried so many different brands and the Premium Arden Grange (which is designed for working dogs) is the only thing that kept the weight on him. Our other dog didn't do so well on AG and has Burns instead - it really depends on the individual dog, but AG has good ingredients and nutrition behind it.

Our Lab came to us on AG at 6 months & so we stuck with it. HOWEVER, he subsequently developed opaque eyes & the vet ruled out many possible causes so we came down to poor diet. Swapped him off & eyes got better. No medication. 11 years on eyes still good.
