I know they need proof of kennel cough medication but what vaccinations do they usually need.

All kennels will require proof of the routine booster being done within the last year - depending on the protocol of your vet, this may include some or all of distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, parvovirus and leptospirosis (we give parvo and lepto every year and the others every other year, for example), but all kennels I have ever dealt with are happy to accept the vets's word that whatever is in the most recent booster is sufficient, if the boosters have been done regularly.
The main cause of kennel cough, Bordatella, is a separate vaccine, generally given into the nose; most (but not all) kennels require this as well, as you say.
Hope this helps.

Have you got a vax card from your vet? That should be sufficient enough tbh.

Also, as Alice mentioned, not all kennels require KC Meds.
