So mister greyhound homechecker is due round tomorrow (RGT finally found my email and are blaming technology lol).

Neighbour chirpily announces he's taking our back gate off tomorrow to rebuild the framework around it (we're getting it replaced properly in the near future but he's going to resite the gate in the interim)... so yeah - we work around explaining that one and that the garden IS in fact secure.

Take woof to the park - he spots a squirrel - goes lolloping off through the undergrowth and comes back with a scratch on his face - he's fine - but now I've got a dog that looks like he's escaped from Braveheart and a back gate that'll be off its hinges at the time the homechecker arrives!

Not exactly a haven of peace and tranquility - all I need is for the cat to start a fight with the dog as well!

typical don't worry Grin

I was being homechecked for a rescue cat, one of the "what I had called wellbehaved dogs" eup near the homecheckers feet and started to clear it up all by himself with her looking on in a slight shade of green - she left quickly but did let us have two rescue cats though!!!

You will be fine

Love the dog from Braveheart! "You can take my sausage but you'll never take my freedom" . Am also imagining your dog with a blue bum. Grin

Like Minimu's "recycling" dogs...

scuttle - he'd trade the freedom for the sausage any day... he'd trade ME for the sausage... he'd trade the cat in for half a sausage...

Loyalty is cheap in this one's case!

Thankfully the cut's healed over quite nicely this morning - I was like one of those neurotic mums on school photograph day - "Don't you dare mess up your fur till after the homechecker's been!"
