The doghouse

Oh dear The Devil Dog has just noticed that there are lots of tiny little dogs in our x-mas tree and they all want to play.

Maybe some glossy ones were not the best idea!

Luckily our huge tree would not fit in the new living room so we bought a smaller tree that sits on table and he cannot quite reach the tree. But it is not for the lack of trying. He has given up for now, but is sleeping next to the tree, keeping one eye on all those pesky little dogs.

Yes he is a terrier mix. So are all the doggies in the tree.

ha! thought so... does anything / everything moving get him going? is he tenacious to the point of insanity? (our terrier is standing at the bottom of the garden barking at the wall as a cat walked along there about 15 mins ago as i type...)

Hmm .. I am still considering whether to put our tree up .. or not! We already have other dogs in the oven and the french doors (at night).

Yes ControlFreaky, that's him. He tried to chase a bus on our last walk. Luckily he was leashed at the time. Unluckily we were standing on slidy mud Xmas Angry

Bless him! I have been suprised by my dogs' lack of interest in the tree. This is our first year with one for a while as we have had puppies and kittens/cats they would have been too much of a temptation for and I didn't want needles in feet, but we've gone for a decent ish artificial one and the dogs are acting like it's been there forever.

Your post does remind me of the time we had a Golden Retriever calendar I had just been given upright on a chair with a few things partially obscuring the picture on the front. One of our girls noticed it and went mad, barking at it to try and make it play. Grin

Hahaha, we have a terrier cross puppy. I'm keeping a very close eye on the tree Xmas Grin. So far, so good, although 3 baubles have rather mysteriously been found in the garden.....
