so far this week, we have had Loofa at the vets because he had a v sore toe/paw - think tramadol, antibiotics, mikki boot and dressings oh and dont forget the emergency dash on Sunday evening!

Now, last night the puppy started shaking her head and generally being a little minx, so I wiped her ears and went to bed thinking she would be fine. Got up this morning at 6am and her eyes are swollen, shaking her ears and I am going to the Vet this morning with her.
She is fine in herself, eating drinking and nipping everything and anything. Hmm

I suppose the moral of the story is do not have animals if you cannot afford the vets fees, which are often unexpected - even with insurance. Wink
And you need eyes in the back of your head with puppies.
Sure she has eaten something everything in the garden, have removed rose hips, rose branches, gravel, moss ... from her mouth yesterday.

thanks, just back from the Vets, Loofas paw is fine, short walks allowed again for him. His mouth is 90% better which is amazing news, reducing his steroids a little again, back in a week for him. But it is good news, except he looks like a hat stand to quote his vet. Sad

Lola is back to her normal puppy self which is good, this naughtiness was beginning to irritate me, bless her. Gave her a quick bath last night which has alleviated the scratching a bit.

The end of the week is looking much much better than the beginning! Grin

Glad the end of your week is looking brighter than the beginning.

Great news that Loofas mouth is 90% better, almost back to perfect then.
Keep them both out of trouble for a while, if thats at all possible. Pups can be little terrors!

thanks Kid, it is fab news isnt it? The back of his mouth is still a bit yuk, but in general he is a happier dog.

Pup is a little terror, but lovely at the same time. I do forget she is just a baby sometimes though.

My pup is now 5 1/2 months old. He has a lovely cuddly side and a eat anything and everything side. I'm talking hands, feet, shoes, stairs, letters, books and even skirting boards. Oh, not forgetting my umbrella!
He doesn't really eat those things, but he does nibble on them!
