Is it true Top of the Pops is moving to BBC2 / Sundays / being axed?

Top of the Pops is definitely not being axed! For some reason, the press seem to like spreading that rumour about. After over 40 years on TV, it's still the most popular and talked about music show on the box and there's no chance of it disappearing.

There is a plan for it to move to Sunday nights (around the time of the new chart) and the show will be longer. It will also include the occassional archive performance. Details of time, length and channel are still to be decided upon, but you'll read about it here first!
