Sometimes when I'm slumped on the sofa watching TV with DD in an active and instructive way this programme comes on. Somehow I have only ever heard the title song, then it's a blank until they sing the closing titles. I really have no recall at all of the intervening 10 mins. So what happens to me? Is it some sort of mass hypnotism so that the govt (or subversive forces at Cbeebies) can plant subliminal info in our minds?
I'm worried that in the not too distant future there will be a codeword spoken over the airwaves and millions of mothers and children will suddenly go blank-eyed and mindlessly set about doing something or other. To be fair I do already spend quite a bit of time blank-eyed and mindless, but at least I'm only under the thrall of two small children, not a Bond-style villan or Big Brother (as in the novel, not the tv programme).
Can anyone out there recall a storyline from this programme?
