I have a feeling this is going to be awful actually, they are focusing on lone parents

Just starting on C4 now.

Oh, yes, target lone parents and not the non-resident partner who swanned off.

Fucking misogynistic bullshit.

Privitise it! Yep.

Just like the US.

You want their crime stats to go with it?

My parents just got back from Portland, Oregon, and were stunned about the numbers of beggars on the street there.

A "confidence-boosting course"?

With the Bride of Satan?

Blimey, this looks awful...

Yeah, we're together. For me to make more money.

Not a peep about the non-resident parent.

what a great message to give out during a recession.

on yer bike is how a lot of these people got where they are in the first place.

not a word about the non-resident parent.

and let's see them addressing childcare issues for the 7-year-olds when Mum takes the job in Tesco and they want her on nights and weekends.

Report
expatinscotland · 20/08/2009 21:13

why assume she's had a drink?

because they're all alcohlics and druggies.

this gal reminds me of female Nazi prison guards, tbh. ever seen photos of those battleaxes?

she's shaking because she's afraid they'll yank her benefits and leave her to starve.

i mean come on, she's only been out of work for 2 years, not like 15-20 years like some, I feel so sad for that lady.

misspolkadot just needs a stick to whip them with!

Not watching yet but am I right in thinking that this woman runs an organisation to get mums back into work ??

If so then have they mentioned that this scheme is only available to people who they deem to live in a poorer area ???

I tried 3 of these agencies to help me get back into work, and all 3 told me I wasn't eligable because I live in what is classed as an affluent area

I wrote to my MP about it and he eventually said that I could get the same help from my job centre, which is complete and utter bollocks. If thats the case then why do these agencies exist ?

her kids are teens. that's probably why they've forced her to go on this programme.
